How to identify the article?

There are four elements or techniques of the article: 
1.      Lead          : usually one sentence that tells who, what, where, when, why, and how. 
                          It is found at the beginning of the story. 
2.      Headline    : The title of the story. 
3.      Byline        : The author of the story. 
4.      Quote         : Exactly what someone said and is in quotation marks.
